16: The Cost of Surrogacy, Guest: Kallie Fell, MS, BSN, RN
This week on This is a Woman Podcast, we dive into the ethical and moral harms Surrogacy and with Kallie Fell, MS, BSN, RN.
Surrogacy can be a touchy, and confusing subject, but is one that needs to be talked about. Kallie discusses everything from what surrogacy is, to the word "infertility" being redefined, to women being erased and commodified.
Kallie started her professional career as a scientist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center utilizing a Master of Science degree in Animal Sciences with an emphasis on Reproductive Physiology and Molecular Biology from Purdue University. Kallie continues to work, as she has for the past 6 years, as a perinatal nurse and with the Center for Bioethics and Culture as the Executive Director.
